Key Responsibilities
- Emissions Reduction & Environmental Impact Mitigation: Identify and implement strategies to lower carbon emissions from offshore operations.
- Regulatory Compliance & Permits: Secure permits for platform presence, oil and gas production, and chemical usage; ensure compliance with UK environmental legislation.
- Data Management & Reporting: Collate and analyse emissions, waste, and chemical usage data, reporting findings to internal teams, regulatory bodies, and company leadership.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with processing, production, subsurface, and engineering teams to align environmental practices with operational goals.
- Offshore Site Visits: Conduct periodic offshore inspections to monitor compliance, assess environmental impact, and engage with on-site teams.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: A scientific background is essential; degrees in environmental management, petroleum geology, or related fields are beneficial.
